#Roosters Country Buffet in West Monroe: Tried a buffet today that was really good and down home cooking with taste. Their new Chef is William Lewis, if some of you remember Canards, he was there. He has popped up at the Roosters on North 7th across from the West Monroe High School field. William and Kenneth Swanner are going to be on #KTVE #Region Ten News cooking this Thursday am, this is to help people to see local faces in the community that own business, and for all of us to support them .
William wrote out on a sheet of paper his menu which he adds some too every day. They are just serving lunch and are open for Sunday lunch but closed Saturday.
Wednesday it is
Fried Pork Chops
Baked Chicken
Fried Chicken (yum)
Fried Catfish
Green beans , butter beans, cabbage, purple Hull peas, Fried Chicken liver , Mac and Cheese, Broc and rice, mashed potatos, dinner rolls, hot water cornbread , fried squash and fried Gizzards.
Apple, peach and pear cobblers all for $11.00
